Location: Houston, TX 77051
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift: Day & Night Shift Available
Night Shift Differential: +10% Pay Differential

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependableManufacturing Machine Operator to join our production team in Houston, TX. This position supports daily manufacturing operations and is ideal for candidates with experience operating production equipment, including Plasma Tables, Band Saws, Press Brakes, or similar fabrication machinery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate equipment while maintaining production quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and assist with manufacturing equipment including Plasma Tables, Band Saws, Press Brakes, and related machinery.
  • Assist Machine Operators with daily production tasks and equipment setup.
  • Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products.
  • Read and follow work instructions, production drawings, and job specifications.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Measure and verify materials using basic measuring tools.
  • Assist with material preparation and fabrication processes.
  • Assemble, label, package, and organize completed products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
  • Assist with inventory counts and material organization.
  • Work closely with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment preferred.
  • Experience operating Plasma Tables, Band Saws, Press Brakes, or similar equipment strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and hand tools.
  • Ability to read measurements and follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day).
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs/ladders, and perform physical tasks.
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Safety glasses and steel-toe boots required.

  • Overtime and additional hours may be required based on production needs.
