Job summary

Flex Pack is hiring a Machine Operator on 3rd shift (10pm–6am, Sunday–Thursday) in Green Bay, WI. Starting pay is $20.65/hour with a shift premium upon transfer. You will operate packaging equipment, inspect output, and help with continuous improvement while following safety and quality procedures.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 3 years in manufacturing. We offer benefits, paid holidays, and advancement opportunities in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets for one or more machine styles.
  • Perform minor machine adjustments.
  • Perform minor equipment repair.
  • Pack finished product
  • Inspect and examine bags/pouches for defects and non-conformances
  • Measure product to customer specifications
  • Ensure proper packing quantities are fulfilled
  • Work with Quality team for non-conformances
  • Troubleshoot a process or machine concern and communicate resolutions
  • Accurately document and complete necessary paperwork
  • Communicate with the next shift on special instructions
  • Participate with peers and supervisors in addressing problem areas and operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed
  • Compliance with all company Quality Systems, Operational and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including safety and housekeeping procedures

Job Details
  • Full Time – Hourly
  • 3rd Shift 10pm – 6am (Sunday – Thursday)
  • Starting pay: $20.65 per hour ($19.00 per hour + $1.65 per hour shift premium upon transfer)
Basic Job Duties

The Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently producing a quality product to the customer’s specifications. The Machine Operator will also work on continuous improvements with regard to workmanship standards, standard operating procedures, and safety suggestions.

  • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets for one or more machine styles
  • Perform minor machine adjustments
  • Perform minor equipment repair
  • Pack finished product
