Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading commercial product manufacturer in the Garner area with a Machine Operator opening for 3rd shift on a contract-to-hire basis.

The role requires 2+ years of machine operation experience, ability to operate a sit-down forklift, and proficiency with gauges and measurement devices. Candidates should be comfortable with physical lifting and passing background checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
• Comfort using gauges, tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and changeover production equipment
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on machinery
• Made adjustments to machines as needed
• Perform visual inspections of finished product
• Operate a sit down forklift
• Assist with bringing materials to manufacturing lines

Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years machine operation experience
• Must be able to operate a sit down forklift
• Must be comfortable using gauges, tape measure, and other measuring devices
• Must be able to perform mathematical calculations
• Must be comfortable lifting 50+ lbs continuously
• Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• High school diploma required
