Job Summary
The Machine Operator maintains efficient operations of machines, including operation of filler, wash cycle, and tie-ins to silos.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reloads and maintains continuous operation, including loading paper cartons/bottles and juices (including changing silos).
- Obtains correct packaging materials and assists in record keeping of material usage.
- Performs CIP and wash cycles for machines, including silo CIP, filler CIP, and pressure wash areas, ensuring equipment readiness for the next run.
- Monitors quantities to match the production schedule, completes efficiency paperwork, and checks weights of filled cartons and dye leaks.
- Completes all associated production paperwork accurately and timely.
- Monitors products to ensure compliance with specifications and correct codes.
- Performs quality checks and testing as required by the Quality Department or management.
- Adjusts machinery for optimal production.
- Follows all company policies, procedures, safety rules, and maintains a clean, organized work area.
- Performs routine quality checks on product, verifying brix, codes, and packaging types.
- Ensures machines operate at standard efficiency.
- Performs operator maintenance, including filling peroxide, changing filters, replacing defective u-cups, and maintaining fluid levels.
- Records production data, machine efficiency, and downtime to meet the production schedule.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent, or
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and lifting tools/materials.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, and stretch.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
