Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a machine operator in Elk Grove Village, IL to operate milling machines and presses and produce quality parts. You will set up and run multiple machines as required and ensure output meets specifications.

Candidates should have basic math and English, ability to read gauges, follow instructions, and maintain clean work habits. This role requires good hand-eye coordination and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic math and English skills required.
• Ability to read basic measuring instruments such as scales and fixed gauges.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination for loading and unloading parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and manual milling machines and drill presses, punch presses, broaches, Kearney-Treckers and stamping machines to produce quality parts.
• Operate multiple machines as required.
• Check oil and coolant levels at regular intervals, adding oil or coolant as required.
• Maintain accurate counts on all parts machined at various operating stations.
• Blow out fixture before reloading during operation of any machine, clean metal chips from machine table and troughs.
• Clean chips from sumps as required.
• Monitor process to ensure finished products conform to established specifications.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
