DEMCO, Inc. is hiring a Size Jacket Operator at our DeForest, WI location for the 1st shift. You will operate Size Jacket equipment, follow tickets to cut materials to specifications, and assist with basic maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with manufacturing equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Cross-training and overtime are available as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude; ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for most of an 8-hour shift.
• Willingness to cross-train in other Value Center functions and work overtime as needed.

Our Value Center in DeForest is hiring a Size Jacket Operator to join our Manufacturing team. You’ll operate specialized equipment used to cut and prepare materials for our library products while helping keep production running safely and efficiently.

In this role, you will:

• Safely and efficiently operate Size Jacket equipment to meet daily production needs
• Follow job tickets to accurately cut materials to the required press size or finished-product specifications
• Order needed raw materials and perform weekly light maintenance, including blade and oil changes
• Flex into other areas of the Value Center as production and labor needs shift
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or maintenance issues
