Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing company in Cary, North Carolina. This full-time position offers a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with potential weekend overtime.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in machine operations and familiarity with various production equipment and tools. Responsibilities include operating machinery, performing quality inspections, and troubleshooting equipment issues to maintain productivity.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with machine shop equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks.

Job description

Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Cary area that is hiring a Machine Operator to join their team. This is a great opportunity working 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with occasional weekend overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support production equipment including saws, orbital welders, and brazing equipment
• Use hand tools such as chop saws, cordless drills, and buffing wheels to complete production tasks
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machinery to ensure accurate and efficient production
• Perform basic troubleshooting to support equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Flex into other production areas as needed based on workflow and priorities

Requirements

• Prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Familiarity with machine shop equipment and hand tools
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and respond to changing production needs
• Basic computer skills, including data entry
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
