Reports to: Production Supervisor

Main Responsibilities:

1. Identify and participate in initiatives to improve efficiencies, product quality, and safety.
2. Ensure all machines are free of hazards before operation.
3. Power on equipment and verify gas valves are open before igniting ovens.
4. Inspect and repair press belts as needed.
5. Ensure correct assembly of dividers.
6. Maintain production line operations during the shift and report issues immediately to your supervisor.
7. Ensure the condition and safe operation of dividers, presses, ovens, and cooling conveyors.
8. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area following 5S standards.
9. Cover breaks on a rotating basis and perform other duties as instructed by your supervisor.
10. Check dough ball weight and appearance of tortillas.
11. Verify product form.
12. Complete daily dough waste reports.
13. Manage utensil sign-in and sign-out.
14. Review the production schedule.

Requirements:

Education and skills:

• HACCP training
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Proficient in reading, writing, and math
• Excellent communication skills
