Job summary

Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team in Oregon. You will set up, run, and maintain electronics assembly equipment such as SMT Pick & Place, Through-Hole Insertion, Sequencers, Wave Solder, and Reflow systems.

This role offers a unique Thursday–Saturday night schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, delivering a 4-day weekend each week to support work-life balance and personal priorities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–6 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
  • Basic data entry and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and follow English instructions and safety documentation.
  • Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to interpret performance graphs.

Responsibilities

  • Read job specifications and set up machines accordingly.
  • Operate production equipment with attention to quality and efficiency.
  • Use computer programs to access and follow assembly instructions.
  • Monitor machines to detect defects or malfunctions and correct or route as needed.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance per documented instructions.
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to problem-solving.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

We’re looking for a Machine Operator to join our dedicated production team. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll work with a variety of production equipment, including SMT Pick & Place machines, Through-Hole Insertion, Sequencers, Wave Solder, and Reflow systems.

Whether you're adjusting settings or catching issues before they become problems, your work helps ensure we build high-quality products that exceed expectations.

Work just 3 nights a week, and enjoy a 4-day weekend every week!

This position follows a Thursday-Saturday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM night shift schedule. You’ll work full-time hours in just 3 days, giving you 4 consecutive days off each week to recharge, focus on personal priorities, or simply enjoy more balance.

Summary

As a Machine Operator, you’ll set up, run, and maintain production equipment used in electronics assembly, including:

  • SMT Pick & Place
  • Through-Hole Insertion
  • Sequencing Machines
  • Wave Flow & Reflow Solder

You’ll play a vital role in keeping production efficient, accurate, and aligned with Milwaukee Electronics’ high-quality standards.
