Job summary

Zekelman Industries’ Picoma division is seeking a Machine Operator in Cambridge, OH to operate and maintain secondary process equipment. You will set up machines, perform checks, monitor quality, and support safety practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic math, and the ability to read weights and measurements. Candidates should be able to lift and handle equipment safely and work with teams across departments.

• Ability to read and record weights and measurements accurately.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains machinery in secondary process areas.
• Performs setups, checks, and inspections of recut and swage processes.
• Monitors product quality and ensures compliance with specifications.
• Keeps area clean and adheres to safety policies.
• Trains other employees as assigned by the Supervisor.

You will be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting machinery, supplying material for recut, and maintaining high-quality production standards.
