Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at our packaging solutions facility. This role involves operating and assist maintaining high-performance packaging equipment, including machines from Gofar, Apstar, Ward, Bobst, and Siemens. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine operation and assisting with maintenance to ensure smooth production. This position requires being on your feet for most of the shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure consistent and efficient production.
  
• Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications and quality standards.
  
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  
• Assist maintenance teams with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
  
• Conduct quality checks on finished packaging materials to ensure they meet company and customer requirements.
  
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  
• Accurately record production data and report any machine malfunctions or inefficiencies.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience operating packaging machinery, preferably Gofar, Apstar, Ward, Bobst, or Siemens brands.
  
• Basic mechanical skills with the ability to assist in equipment maintenance.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and production orders is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities.
  
• Comfortable working in a standing position for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  
• 2 years prior experience in a packaging or manufacturing facility.
  

Location: City of Industry

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  
• 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
