Wonderbrands, a leading Canadian bakery with 140 years of experience in baking packaged breads, is the maker of Wonder Bread, Country Harvest, D’Italiano, Gadoua, and Casa Mendosa. We operate 14 Bakery Manufacturing facilities across Canada.

Now part of the FGF Brands Group, Wonderbrands is focused on growth through production innovation, a leading-edge supply chain, and community investment. We foster an entrepreneurial, collaborative start-up culture emphasizing cross-functional teamwork.

Location: 560 Victoria Street North, Kitchener, Ontario N2H 5G2

Shift: Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 11:15 pm

Wage: $21.00/hour + quarterly bonus

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment, manage changeovers, and operate production lines for various food products.
• Read work orders and specifications for proper setup.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support preventive maintenance to minimize stoppages.
• Contribute to shift action plans for equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve processes and training.
• Ensure product quality with the production team.

Requirements

• A passion for bread and baked goods!
• Strong interpersonal skills—approachable, attentive, empathetic.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing.
• Dedication to health and safety.
• Openness to constructive feedback and continuous improvement.
• Ability to listen carefully, ask clarifying questions, and understand situations thoroughly.
