Job summary

Manpower in Linden, CA is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to oversee production and packaging lines. You will monitor equipment, perform routine maintenance, and help with setups and changeovers to maintain smooth workflow.

The role requires reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to work overtime as needed while meeting quality standards and supporting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and perform basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.
• Assist with machine setups, changeovers, adjustments, and start-up procedures.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
• Manually assemble and install packaging components as needed.
• Replenish, load, and unload production materials to maintain continuous production flow.
• Identify and communicate equipment concerns, production issues, and quality concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.

Pay Rate: $23.40/hour
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Overtime: Must be available for overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.

• Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Dependable with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
