Job summary

Integer Holdings Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator for the first shift in Minnesota. The role involves operating machinery, loading materials, and performing precision finishing in a regulated medical device environment. Candidates should read drawings, follow instructions, and maintain quality documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in a regulated manufacturing environment operating machinery; medical device experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of drawings and blueprints; ability to read in English and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Operates machinery and loads materials for manufacturing operations.
  • Reads and follows operating manuals and procedures; maintains documentation.
  • Inspects parts visually and dimensionally to ensure conformance.

  • Maintains and cleans machinery as needed; participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Applies proficiency within discipline, completes tasks and assignments and solves routine problems with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • May be involved in equipment set-up and/or of more complex assignments.
  • Loads component materials into product specific tools and/or performs finishing operations.
  • Reads and follows operating manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures.
  • Inspects parts visually with aid of microscope and/or dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements.
  • Follows established documentation for product manufacturing.
  • Completes required documentation.
  • Cleans and maintains machinery, as necessary.
  • Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, job rotations, and classroom instruction.
  • Participates in team activity focusing on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Performs other functions as required.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: A minimum of 2 years related work experience operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing environment; medical device experience preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Working knowledge of drawings and blueprints with ability to interpret information.
  • Ability to work with small precision parts.
  • Ability to read in English, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
  • Must have basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques.

This is a first shift position with the hours of 5:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Thursday.

Salary range for this position is $19.83 - $29.09 per hour.

Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
