Job summary

CT Polymers, LLC. is seeking a forklift operator to support daily production operations at our facility in Indiana. You will operate and maintain industrial equipment, handle materials, and prepare shipments with attention to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications include at least a high school diploma and a valid forklift certification; two years of forklift experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage of $16.00–$17.50.

Job description

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain simple and complex industrial machinery.
• Equipment Care: Clean production machinery and remain responsible for company-provided tools.
• Material Handling: Supply production lines and store materials using a sit-down forklift.
• Logistics & Prep: Clean boxes, lids, and skids thoroughly before staging them.
• Documentation: Complete quality control logs, production ledgers, and box tickets legibly.
• Basic Math: Compute material weights accurately using gross, tare, and net calculations.
• Collaboration: Participate in shift meetings, training sessions, and communicate with coworkers.
• Forklift Experience: Minimum 2 years of forklift experience is mandatory.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 65 pounds.
• Mobility: Stand, walk, stoop, and bend 80% of the shift.
• Stamina: Get on and off forklifts repeatedly and stand for long periods.
• Technical Skills: Proficient using calculators, adding machines, and industrial scales.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and work under deadline pressure.
• Certification: Valid Forklift Certification is highly preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Pay: From $16.00 to $17.50 per hour.
