Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other industrial machinery such as crane, hoist, band saw, plasma, flame CNC cutting, Blanchard grinding, and other steel processing equipment.
• Set up and prepare machinery for production runs.
• Perform inspections and monitor processes to ensure product quality.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, performing routing cleanup duties within the shop.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in operating forklift, crane, and hoist.
• Experience with industrial machinery, including band saw, plasma and flame CNC cutting, Blanchard grinding, and other steel processing equipment.
• Ability to operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and perform basic math operations.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and preventive maintenance skills.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated prior commitment to safety.

Physical Demands

• Light to heavy lifting; must lift up to 55 lbs and be able to pick up bed height regularly.
• Must be able to stand, sit, grip, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk for extended periods.
