Job summary

Caerus Corp in Blaine, MN is seeking a Machine Operator to prepare work orders, kit raw materials, and operate production machinery. The role ensures parts meet specifications, requires attention to safety, and includes routine equipment maintenance. Training and a collaborative team environment are provided.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Thursday schedule, 5:00am–3:30pm shifts. Candidates should have basic English skills and prior machine-operating experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous machine operating experience preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills in English.
  • Use of visual aids, verbal, and written instruction to operate machines.
  • Ability to work independently. Able to set up/troubleshoot a variety of machines.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • General computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Knowledge of Lean Principles preferred.
  • Lifting of up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare each work order by kitting all the necessary raw materials.
  • Utilize cutting machines to achieve material final lengths and dimensions as specified.
  • Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
  • Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
  • Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with functional, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
  • Maintain logs and records of units produced, including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
  • Perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance on machinery.
  • Ensure correct parts are kept in appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements.
  • Perform repetitive material supply functions following detailed work direction and guidelines.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement and safety objectives.
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Position Summary
