Job summary

Coworx Staffing Services LLC in Bethel, CT is seeking a manufacturing professional to manage setup and operation of production equipment. This role emphasizes GMP compliance, quality standards, and data recording.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret production work instructions, routers and specifications.
  • Spanish skills not required but would be an asset.
  • Ability to read and understand English.

Location:

Bethel, Connecticut

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the setup and operation of machines to maximize efficiency.
  • Set up and maintain wire/tube processing equipment according to production schedules and quality standards, making minor adjustments as needed.
  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment within an assigned work cell.
  • Perform in-process inspections and analyze data as required by work instructions, routers, and specifications. Utilize precision measuring tools such as pin gauges, laser micrometers, and other instruments.
  • Document basic process observations, including dimensional and shape changes of product, tooling, and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Inspect drawing dies and tooling before and after each use.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, fixtures, and consumables within the assigned area.
  • Partner with logistics personnel to meet on‑time delivery, scrap reduction, and shipment goals.
  • Gather information to collaborate with engineering on process improvements, scrap reduction, and productivity increases.
  • Ensure production and development paperwork complies with GMP requirements.
  • Enforce line‑clearance procedures.
  • Track work order status and workflow throughout production.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.
  • Enter and maintain work orders in the electronic ERP system.
Desired Background/Skills:
  • Technical schools or college degree preferred, but not required.
  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • Two to Five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Windows based PC’s and their related applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret production work instructions, routers and specifications.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from operators and to upper management and auditors. Spanish skills language skills not required but would be an asset.
  • Ability to read and understand English
