Job summary

HelloFresh in Colorado is seeking a Machine Operator to operate state-of-the-art food packaging equipment and support efficient, safe production. You will run automated packaging lines, assist in food prep and portioning, document operations, and train newer operators in standard procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of machine operation experience at Green Chef, or 1+ years of external machine operator experience.
• Strong communication skills in English
• Demonstrated reliability, good performance standing, and attendance history.
• Willingness to train and mentor team members on equipment operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and staff all automated packaging and production machinery (including SidePouch, Sauce Portioners, VibraCone, Likwifier, Urschel, and related equipment).
• Assist automated systems with food preparation and portioning into final packaging.
• Identify equipment irregularities, troubleshoot minor issues, and major technical problems to maintenance promptly.
• Ensure machinery is thoroughly cleaned and maintained according to Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP).
• Accurately complete operational documentation and coordinate transactions with Quality Assurance and Management.
• Provide ongoing coaching, support, and informal training to junior Machine Operators.

Job description

In this role, you will operate state-of-the‑art food packaging equipment, and ensure our production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating all facility machinery safely and with maximum efficiency.

Shift

Sunday, Monday, Thursday, & Friday - 7:00am to 5:30pm

You will

• Operate and staff all automated packaging and production machinery (including SidePouch, Sauce Portioners, VibraCone, Likwifier, Urschel, and related equipment).

You have

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and move continuously for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to tabletop height.

Working Conditions

• Cold / refrigerated production facility environment.
