Job Description
The Operator – Machine 2 is responsible for producing quality product while running continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment efficiently and safely by performing the following duties.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Prepare quality check sheets
- Proficiently operate and troubleshoot multiple pieces of equipment
- Perform product changeovers without assistance
- Perform package changeovers without assistance on multiple pieces of equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to ISO GMP standards
- Perform duties as assigned by management
What You Need To Succeed
- Minimum age 18
- Use PPE as required and follow safety policies
- Prompt and regular attendance
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Maintain professional appearance within company guidelines
- Maintain safety and security of company assets
- Utilize all company resources and technology effectively
- Less than high school diploma or 3-6 months related experience/training or equivalent
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedules
- Ability to work with team members
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to climb 10-12 ft ladders
Physical Requirements
Position requires PPE and safety shoes when operating powered industrial equipment, working with palletized products, or in similar environments. The role involves various physical activities with specified frequencies.
