As a Machine Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate injection molding machines and perform secondary tasks at the press, including trimming parts and packaging to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed production environment.
• Willing to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding presses safely and efficiently.
• Follow standard work instructions and production procedures.
• Perform visual inspections of parts for quality.
• Use a micrometer to check part dimensions when required.
• Trim, finish, and package parts according to customer specs.
• Document shift paperwork and production records.
• Communicate defects or production issues to leads or supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support continuous improvement and work as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

Mega Force has partnered with a leading global manufacturer of injection-molded products to hire dependable Machine Operators in Asheboro, NC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating injection molding machines and performing secondary production tasks at the press. Duties include trimming parts, inspecting products for quality, handling finished products, and packaging parts according to customer specifications. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build or grow their manufacturing experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate injection molding presses.
• Follow standardized work instructions and established production procedures.
• Perform visual inspections of parts according to quality requirements.
• Inspect parts for defects such as cracks, chip-outs, and other quality issues.
• Use a micrometer to check part dimensions when required.
• Trim and finish parts according to customer specifications.
• Follow production and quality instructions for each production run.
• Count, organize, and package finished parts according to requirements.
• Properly complete all required shift paperwork and production documentation.
• Communicate part defects, quality concerns, equipment issues, or production problems to the Lead, Technician, or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed production environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be willing to work 8-10 hour shifts, occasional Saturdays, and overtime as needed.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to climb ladders safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to frequently bend, squat, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
