Job summary

Sheridan Minnesota is seeking a hands-on bindery operator for a 1st shift position (6:30 AM–3:00 PM). You’ll learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders) and help keep machines running smoothly to hit daily production goals. No bindery experience?

No problem—we’ll train you. You’ll work in a factory environment, wear safety toe shoes, lift up to 50 lbs, and be part of a team that values quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools.

This is a 1st shift position - working Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3PM with potential for overtime hours.

What You’ll Do

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders.)
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

We’re looking for people who:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.
• On your feet for most of the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
