Job summary

Sheridan Minnesota is seeking a 1st shift bindery operator to join our production team. You will learn to operate high-speed bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders, with overtime potential.

Training will be provided; no bindery experience is required. Join a team that hits daily production goals, inspects finished products for quality, and adheres to safety procedures in a dusty, factory environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.

This is a 1st shift position - working Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3PM with potential for overtime hours.

What You’ll Do

• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

We’re looking for people who:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.
• On your feet for most of the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
