Job summary

Stryten Energy in the United States is seeking Machine Mechanics for all shifts. Entry-level and experienced candidates are welcome; the role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing molding equipment, with opportunities to participate in mold changes and process improvements.

Starting rate for experienced candidates is $27.21 per hour, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Military training or experience encouraged.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of basic injection molding practices preferred.
  • Knowledge of fundamental electrical principles for sensor repair/replacement preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and hoists (training provided).

Responsibilities

  • Perform mold changes, start-ups, and changes to molding processes.
  • Troubleshoot robots and other miscellaneous assembly equipment.
  • Tag areas of machines and molds that require repairs.
  • Ensure work is performed neat and professionally.
  • Communicate day-to-day with superintendent and/or mechanics supervisor.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Participate in daily OPM activities as required.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Apply common sense to all situations.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Work effectively as a team member.
  • Handle multiple tasks with limited supervision.

Overview

Entry‑level and experienced openings for Machine Mechanics on all shifts! If you enjoyed shop class or have experience working with assembly, air cylinders, air‑operated, or hydraulic equipment, this could be a good fit. Transferable skills from auto repair or restoration are also welcomed, and military veterans have successfully transitioned to roles with us.

We offer a Qualification Program that provides employees the opportunity for skill development, promotion, and higher pay. The starting rate for experienced candidates is $27.21 per hour.

Shift Details

Opening on 1st shift (Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3 pm)

Bonus Opportunities
  • Quarterly Attendance Bonus – up to $600 quarterly.
  • Production Bonus – up to 10% monthly bonus based on plant production goals (potentially $336 per month).
About the Work

Machine Mechanics help meet production goals and quality standards, providing first‑level support for operators. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, supporting mold changeovers 1–2 times per week, and operating hand tools. Shift work may involve bending, stooping, and crawling under molds.

Hours
  • First shift: 7 am – 3 pm, Monday – Friday
  • Second shift: 3 pm – 11 pm, Monday – Friday
  • Third shift: 11 pm – 7 am, Sunday – Thursday
