Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician - Level I for 1st shift in Wheeling, Illinois. This permanent role offers an hourly wage between $18 and $25.

You will maintain CNC machines and other industrial equipment, install, service, repair, calibrate, diagnose faults, and support the creation and implementation of SOPs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of CNC maintenance experience required.
• Install, service, and repair CNC machines and industrial equipment.
• Assist in creation, verification, and implementation of SOPs.
• Move, replace, and calibrate machinery.
• Diagnose faulty electrical and mechanical components.
• Work on spindles, bearing packs, ball screws, lubrication systems, and alignment.
• Use gauges and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components.
• Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical parts.
• Replace fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers and electric switches.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of CNC maintenance
• Installation, service, and repair of CNC machines and other industrial equipment

• Work at the component level including spindles, bearing packs, ball screws, lubrication systems, and proper alignment
• Use gages and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions

• Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical system parts
• Replacefuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers and electric switches
