Job summary

Compensation and Benefits

Starting wage is based on experience and shift. Selective shifts offer additional shift differential pay. Associates are eligible for quarterly profit sharing and a 401(k) contribution. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician works closely with team leads and operators to perform repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment on the manufacturing line. Work is completed safely and efficiently to minimize production downtime while adhering to environmental and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Change out worn spindles.
• Work with hydraulic pumps and draw bars.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Install production equipment.

Basic Qualifications and Skills

• Use basic electrical test equipment such as digital multimeters, amp probes, and test lights.
• Perform continuity tests and voltage checks.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations, including lockout/tag‑out and arc flash protection.
• Understand technical documents such as machine manuals and safety documentation.
• Demonstrate safe use of fabrication equipment, welding torches, metal brakes/shears, and cutting tools.
• Possess basic fabrication skills, including welding, hand grinding, and sheet metal work.

Physical Demands

Requires standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, and frequent lifting up to 40 pounds. Work is performed standing all day with substantial motion.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years old. Must pass a background and drug screen. Availability for assigned shift hours.
