Deluxe Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment. The role involves disassembly, parts replacement, and precision reassembly to restore equipment to specification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting and evaluation to determine root cause of problems.
• Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts; adjust functional parts as necessary.
• Clean and lubricate parts; order replacement parts; inspect repairs and return equipment to specifications.
• Serve as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues.

Shift: 1st, Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm

Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary .

• Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications. Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: HS/GED
• Experience: 3 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
