Job summary

Deluxe Corporation is seeking qualified candidates for a 2nd shift maintenance role in Lenexa, KS. The position offers a $27.00–$30.00 hourly wage plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan.

Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and maintaining mechanical/electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Required are 18+ years of age, 2 years of machine maintenance experience, and basic tools knowledge; HS/GED education is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools; knowledge of machine tools.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

• Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment by inspection, troubleshooting and evaluation to determine root cause of problems.
• Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts; adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices.
• Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects repairs and returns equipment to specifications.
• Serves as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Experience

3 years prior machine maintenance experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Mechanical aptitude.

Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
