Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical company, is seeking a dedicated Machine Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize equipment within our Minnesota facility. Shift: 1st, Mon-Fri 6:30am–3:00pm, with responsibilities spanning preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes adherence to Quality System, ISO and medical device requirements, with collaboration across sales, engineering, and quality teams to support high-quality

Qualifications

• 3 years of intermediate level machine maintenance experience.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Intermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, and solder (lead) fumes.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally lift 10-50lbs and to stand, bend and stoop.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, around machinery that may be exposed to and around oils & solvents.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

Responsibilities

Machine Maintenance Technician Summary

This individual will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring proper functionality of machines within the facility. Additional responsibilities include improving the quality, productivity and safety of the machine maintenance work.

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.

Pay Range

USD $25.14 - USD $40.67 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
