Job summary

Deluxe is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Lenexa, KS to repair and maintain complex machinery.

You will work with mechanical and electrical systems, use hand and power tools, and follow engineering specifications.

The role offers multiple shifts and a retention bonus, with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Applicants must have at least 2 years of maintenance experience and HS/GED.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools; knowledge of machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment to diagnose root causes.
• Disassemble machines and repair or replace damaged parts.
• Adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as needed.
• Clean and lubricate parts, order replacements, inspect repairs, and return equipment to specifications.
• Assist others in resolving complex problems and issues.

Shifts - 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift Available

• 1st - Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm
• 2nd - Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• 3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 6:30am

Retention Bonus - $750

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.

• Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications. Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Basic Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

2 years prior machine maintenance experience.

Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.

Use of basic hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of machine tools and their use.

Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Education: HS/GED

Experience: 3 years prior machine maintenance experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Mechanical aptitude.

Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
