Job summary

Deluxe Corporation in Lackmans, Kansas is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain complex machinery, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and keep equipment running at peak performance.

This full-time role offers 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts, a $750 retention bonus, and pay of $27.00–$30.00 per hour plus an annual incentive plan; benefits start on day one and a comprehensive benefits package supports you and your family.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.
• Education: HS/GED.
• 3 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems.
• Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Shifts - 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift Available

1st - Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm

2nd - Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 6:30am

Retention Bonus - $750

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
• Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications. Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

• Education: HS/GED
• Experience: 3 years prior machine maintenance experience.
