Job Duties

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment and building.
• Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to identify the location of their problems.
• Dismantles and reassembles equipment that needs repair.
• Examines the form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Assists others on their machines as needed.
• Acts as a liaison with vendors when necessary.
• Sets up machinery, makes the necessary adjustments, and monitors the equipment to be sure it is running efficiently and effectively.
• Performs emergency, scheduled, minor, and preventive maintenance on all machines and building.
• Observes all safety policies and procedures, including LOTO.
• Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Ability to read electrical; hydraulic and pneumatic schematics as necessary
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
