Job summary

Metropolitan Baking Company is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Hamtramck, Michigan facility. You will evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and install bakery and food processing equipment, with knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical and refrigeration.

Responsibilities include maintaining conveyors and performing preventative maintenance in a high-speed environment. 1 year related experience or journeyman certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year related experience or journeyman skilled trade certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and troubleshoot bakery and food processing equipment.
• Repair and install equipment; maintain conveyors and mechanical systems.
• Apply mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure safe operation in a high-speed production environment.

Metropolitan Baking Company is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician at our facility in Hamtramck, Michigan.

This position requires the technical skills to:

• Evaluate
• Troubleshoot
• Repair and install bakery and food processing equipment.
• Mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge
• Maintain conveyors and physical structures.
• Preventative Maintenance

Position Start time 3:30 PM

In addition, the Maintenance Technician must possess an awareness and understanding of how to work safely on Mechanical and Electrical equipment in a high speed production environment.

Qualifications:

• 1 year related experience, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade.
