Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Machine Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance and repair activities for manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and maintain documentation to ensure reliability and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include training technicians, advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance design, emergency response, and cross-functional collaboration to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of machine maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct training programs for new maintenance technicians.
• Use advanced troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Design and optimize preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide technical support during equipment breakdowns to restore production.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes.
• Collaborate with production managers, engineers and stakeholders to coordinate activities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and adopt advanced maintenance techniques.
• Mentor and coach maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate rapid emergency responses to minimize downtime.
