Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Machine Learning - Software Engineer to bridge ML research and production-ready solutions. You will transform research prototypes into scalable, end-user deployable systems and work on CI/CD pipelines, containers, and high-performance inference with NVIDIA Triton.

The role involves developing diverse solutions in C++, Java, or Python, with gRPC-based containerized interfaces and close collaboration with researchers and end users.

Qualifications

• Experience with Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, Vue, React, Vite, Node, NPM, Git.
• Experience with video playback technologies (e.g. HTML5 video, Vidstack, video.js, HLS, DASH) optional.

Responsibilities

• Bridge ML research and production-ready solutions, turning prototypes into deployable systems.
• Develop applications and services in C++, Java, or Python; build gRPC-based containerized solutions.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth development to production deployment.
• Configure containers and optimize with NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for high-performance inference.
• Profile, tune, and optimize performance for production workloads.
• Create user documentation and establish deployment best practices.

Description

We're seeking a Software Engineer to bridge the critical gap between cutting-edge ML research and production-ready solutions. You'll transform research prototypes into robust, deployable systems that end users can confidently put into production. This role uniquely combines software engineering, DevOps practices, and ML solution delivery.

• Productionize ML Research: Transform research code and prototypes from our ML team into reliable, scalable solutions ready for end-user deployment
• Build Diverse Solutions: Develop applications and services in C++, Java, or Python; create gRPC-based containerized solutions with clients in Java, Python, or GoLang
• Own the Delivery Pipeline: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment from development to production
• Deploy ML Infrastructure: Configure and optimize containers using NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for high-performance inference
• Performance Engineering: Profile, tune, and optimize solutions for production workloads
• Documentation & Best Practices: Create comprehensive user documentation and establish deployment best practices
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work directly with end users to understand requirements and with researchers to align development with real-world needs

This job also offers telework once the candidate is familiar with the environment

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Seven (7) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Fouradditional (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’sdegree.
