Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking an Enterprise Senior Software Engineer to lead UI/front-end development in a fast-paced mission-focused environment. You will mentor engineers, design scalable front-end solutions, and collaborate with backend teams to deliver secure, accessible interfaces.

Responsibilities include guiding architecture, enforcing standards, and ensuring seamless API integration across the stack for robust, responsive experiences.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years experience as a SWE in programs/contracts of similar scope
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college/university
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Full-stack experience including backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design)
• Experience with state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GovCloud)
• Experience with UX/UI collaboration to ensure accessible interfaces
• Experience with Linux/Ubuntu environments

Description

• Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code review

• Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs, ensuring efficient data flow between front‑end and back‑end systems
• Contribute to full-stack development efforts as needed, including backend services, database interactions, and deployment pipelines
• Establish and enforce front‑end coding standards, best practices, and component reuse across the team
• Partner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt
• Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision‑making
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience
