Reddit is seeking a Machine Learning Engineering Manager for Core Ads Ranking to shape and scale foundational models and deep user understanding across ads verticals. You will lead a team responsible for end-to-end ML lifecycle, model development, and collaboration with partner teams to drive impactful A/B tested innovations.

The role requires strong leadership, a strategic vision for ML systems, and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in ML teams and projects.
• 6+ years of building and scaling ML models with state-of-the-art techniques.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch and end-to-end ML lifecycle.
• Experience with foundational models and ads is a plus.

The team also leads core initiatives in knowledge distillation, model calibration, and heuristic improvement.This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and scale Reddit's foundational modeling and deep user-understanding roadmap, while multiplying impact through close collaboration with downstream teams including Retrieval, Shopping, Click Prediction, Video View-Through Prediction, Conversion Prediction, and App Ads Modeling.
