Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking experienced machine learning engineers for remote, flexible project-based work. You’ll design and refine models, build data pipelines, and evaluate performance while documenting results for others to reproduce.

You’ll work with Python and popular ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and stay aligned with best practices. Compensation is hourly as an independent contractor across the United States.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience delivering machine learning solutions, including model evaluation, feature engineering or data preprocessing.
• Experience using Python, machine learning frameworks and MongoDB.
• Professional fluency in English, with clear technical documentation and communication.
• No experience in AI training work needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
