OpenTrain AI is seeking engineers to evaluate and improve AI systems remotely. You will create repeatable evaluation environments from realistic coding challenges and write golden solutions that demonstrate expected outcomes.
You’ll investigate bugs across codebases and assess the quality of colleagues' code and submissions. This role is fully remote in the United States, with about 15–20 hours per week and pay per completed task at $50–$100/hour.
Work on the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the software engineering skills you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real software engineers. The teams building them need engineers who can turn realistic coding problems into repeatable tasks, assess whether generated code works, provide a professional-quality solution, and spell out where the AI falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models used for bug fixes, feature work, refactoring, and performance improvements. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
OpenTrain AI connects experienced professionals with paid, part-time AI training work: shaping and improving the AI systems that companies are building right now.
