Job summary

Reddit is seeking a highly skilled ML infrastructure engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for notification relevance, targeting, and personalization across channels. You will architect end-to-end ML pipelines, handle data ingestion, feature computation, model training, evaluation, deployment, and online serving in production environments.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to align requirements and drive end-to-end notification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or related quantitative discipline.
• Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ML infrastructure for notification systems across channels.
• Architect and implement end-to-end ML pipelines for notifications, including data ingestion, feature computation, model training, evaluation, deployment, and online serving.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver end-to-end notification solutions.
• Lead design and implementation of experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, multi-armed bandits) to evaluate models, ranking strategies, and policies.
• Mentor engineers, sharing best practices in ML engineering, distributed systems, and ML infrastructure design.

Job Duties: Design, build, and maintain scalable ML infrastructure to support notification relevance, targeting, ranking, and personalization across channels (e.g. push, email, in-app notifications) for millions of users. Architect and implement end-to-end ML pipelines for notifications, including data ingestion, feature computation, model training, evaluation, deployment, and online serving in production environments. Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product managers, and engineers across teams to define requirements, align on priorities, and deliver end-to-end notification solutions. Lead design and implementation of experimentation frameworks (e.g. A/B testing, multi-armed bandits, or similar methods) to evaluate new notification models, ranking strategies, and targeting policies. Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, sharing best practices in machine learning engineering, distributed systems, and ML infrastructure design. Full-time telecommuting is an option.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. The base pay range for this position is: $230,000.00 - $322,000.00 USD
