Job summary

EDB is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to own ML infrastructure for serving, evaluation, and governance models on top of Postgres. You will work on low-latency inference, model registries, and red-team testing within a remote-first setup.

We seek 4–7 years of ML software engineering experience, deep production ML serving skills, and strong SQL/PostgreSQL fluency. Experience with auto retraining and MCP/dev tooling is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional ML software engineering experience with hands-on work on LLM-based or agentic systems.
• Deep production ML serving experience with low-latency inference and model quantization/distillation.
• Experience with evaluation pipelines and model registries.
• Experience with red-team/adversarial testing harnesses and CI-gated regression suites.
• Drift monitoring and shadow deployment experience.
• Fluency with SQL and PostgreSQL and security-focused mindset in audited environments.

EDB is building the next generation of AI agent infrastructure on top of Postgres including an Agent Hub, an Agent Memory layer, MCP, governance and trust controls, and enterprise-grade retrieval.
