DataAnnotation is seeking software engineers to advance AI development within a flexible contractor framework. You will join a large community of engineers working on front-end, back-end, full-stack, ML, and DevOps tasks, collaborating on challenges that push state‑of‑the‑art AI models.

Contributors can pick projects and set schedules that fit their availability, with paid hourly work starting at $50–$100+ per hour.

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual) is required.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C/C++, Go, Kotlin, Swift, etc.).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including debugging, problem solving, and code review.
• Excellent written communication skills are essential.
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer or related role is preferred.

Our platform offers an engaging blend of flexibility and challenge. You'll work closely with state-of-the-art AI models on programming tasks such as creating and solving complex coding problems, building applications with rich functionality, debugging and improving code, and synthesizing insights through data analysis and visualization. Your work directly contributes to refining intelligent systems that learn, adapt, and evolve.

Some contributors fit this work alongside a full-time role, while others make it their primary focus, choosing projects and schedules that align with their availability and goals.

To get started, you'll create an account and complete a short assessment, which serves as our version of an interview. If you pass the assessment, you'll receive an email confirmation and gain access to paid projects through our platform.
