Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a production crewmember at our New Oxford area facility to support the corrugated packaging operation. You will prepare the work area, follow machine instructions, and help move materials between machine centers to maximize efficiency.

The role requires basic math, the ability to read a tape measure, and the physical capability to lift up to 45 pounds. Overtime on short notice is expected, with opportunities for pay progression and benefits after

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime on short notice.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare area with equipment and materials according to order requirements.
• Set up & operate bundling/squaring machine or case sealer when required.
• Catches and packs boxes, and sets up master cartons.
• Input information into system to create load tag.
• Switch duties with other crew members as needed.
• Communicate quality issues to operator and/or assistant operator.
