Job summary

Johanson Technology Inc. is seeking a Drill/Router Operator to follow established procedures and operate the Drilling/Cutting machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards.

You will troubleshoot, document production activities, measure parts with caliper and micrometer, inspect parts to verify specifications, and maintain a clean, organized work area while meeting production schedules. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing/production.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills and math in algebra/geometría.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Programming, set-up and operation of Drill/Router machine (EVO).
• Troubleshoot drill machines and related processes.
• Measure parts using caliper, micrometer and XYZ table.
• Inspect parts with microscope and optical tools to meet specs.
• Operate cutting machinery per specifications.
• Perform bar counting and visual inspections.
• Research, order and prepare spare parts as needed.
• Maintain equipment and keep area clean and documented.

Job description

Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for a Drill/Router Operator, will be responsible for following established procedures operating the Drilling/Cutting machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, will perform basic trouble shooting and accurately document production activities

Hourly Rate (Non-Exempt):

$20.00 - $23.00/per hour (DOE)

Work Schedule (Monday-Friday)

7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six (6+) months of experience in manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Math skills in Algebra and Geometry
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Previous hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical tools and test equipment
• At least 3+ years' experience in programming, maintaining, troubleshooting, set-up and operation of drilling machines (Excellon and EVO/Pluritec).
• Previous experience in an electronic component manufacturing environment

Essential Functions:

• Programming, Set-up and Operation of Drill/Router machine (EVO)
• Troubleshoot drill machine(s) and process related issues
• Measurements of parts using caliper, micrometer, XYZ table and etc.
• Inspection of parts using Microscope and other optical inspection tools and verify they meet specifications.
• Operate the Cutting machinery according to specifications.
• Perform bar counting and visual inspections.
• Research, order and prepare spare parts for all drill machine(s) as needed.
• Maintain equipment and machinery clean.
• Complete documentation and records.
• Work area is to be kept clean and neat at all times

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

• Use of microscope up to 10% of shift
• Standing/Walking up to 80% of shift; Sitting up to 20% of shift.
• Bending/Twisting of neck and waist up to 80% of shift.
• Reaching above and/or below shoulder level up to 90% of shift.
• Lift, push, pull and/or move - up to 40 lbs. for 10% of shift.
• Simple hand grasping up to 90% of shift; Fine hand manipulation 10% of shift.
• Will occasionally work in fast paced environment and demonstrate adaptability.
• Must understand and follow a set of clear verbal and/or written procedures without deviation.
• Must adhere to a provided work schedule to meet a set of qualitative production standards.
• Interact with co-workers to complete tasks.
