Johanson Technology Inc. in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Drill/Router Operator to follow established procedures and operate the EVO/Excellon drilling and cutting machinery with safety and quality in mind.

You will troubleshoot and document production activities as part of a busy production floor. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 6+ months of manufacturing experience, ability to read technical drawings, basic computer skills, and Algebra/Geometry math skills.

Responsibilities

• Programming, set-up and operation of Drill/Router machine (EVO).
• Troubleshoot drill machines and process-related issues.
• Measure parts using caliper, micrometer, XYZ table, etc.
• Inspect parts using microscope and optical tools to verify specifications.
• Operate cutting machinery according to specifications.
• Perform bar counting and visual inspections.
• Research, order and prepare spare parts for drill machines as needed.
• Maintain equipment and machinery clean.
• Complete documentation and records.
• Keep work area clean and neat at all times.

Job description

Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for a Drill/Router Operator, will be responsible for following established procedures operating the Drilling/Cutting machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, will perform basic trouble shooting and accurately document production activities.

Hourly Rate (Non-Exempt):

$20.00 - $23.00/per hour (DOE)

Work Schedule (Monday-Friday)

7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six (6+) months of experience in manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Math skills in Algebra and Geometry
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience

• Previous hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical tools and test equipment
• At least 3+ years' experience in programming, maintaining, troubleshooting, set-up and operation of drilling machines (Excellon and EVO/Pluritec).
• Previous experience in an electronic component manufacturing environment
