Job summary

Z&e Management Services Corp in Houston is seeking a Machine and Facility Cleaner to perform thorough cleaning of industrial machines and surrounding areas, following cleaning schedules and safety procedures.

You will work with maintenance and production teams, assist with deep cleaning during plant shutdowns, report leaks or unsafe conditions, and endure heat and humidity in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, as needed.
• Work environment may include hot, cold, or humid conditions in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and wipe down machines, equipment, and tools according to cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
• Remove dust, oil, grease, ink, or product residues from machine surfaces.
• Assist with deep cleaning during plant shutdowns or preventive maintenance activities.
• Clean walls, windows, doors, and overhead structures as assigned.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials following company procedures.
• Assist with special projects such as event cleanup, reorganizing spaces, or emergency spill response.
• Identify and report potential issues such as leaks, damaged parts, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel to help prevent accidents or equipment failure.

Job description

This position is responsible for performing thorough cleaning of industrial machines and equipment, as well as maintaining general cleanliness throughout the building. The cleaner works closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure that machines are cleaned in accordance with company procedures and production schedules, without compromising safety or operations.
