Job summary

Prysmian in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Machine Cleaner to help maintain manufacturing equipment and clean production areas. You will manage cleaning supplies and ensure safety compliance on all shifts.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, and read/write in English. Training on SDS and ISO-related procedures is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with safety practices and SDS.
• Experience with cleaning equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production work areas and remove debris/refuse.
• Mop and sweep floors, including operation of powered floor scrubber/sweeper.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and request new supplies as needed.
• Prepare documentation as needed regarding work and maintenance performed.
• Report all equipment failures to immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Complete other job-related duties and special projects assigned by Supervisor.

Essential Functions
