Descripción del empleo

Siemens Digital Industries Automation (DI AUT) is one of the world’s leading providers of industrial automation. Our innovative automation portfolio enables companies of all sizes in both the process and discrete manufacturing industries to accelerate their automation—and thus their digital transformation—across the entire value chain. This allows our customers to increase productivity and flexibility and become future-ready through technologies such as software-defined systems and artificial intelligence. Siemens Xcelerator—the open digital business platform—helps to implement this more easily, quickly, and at scale. Together with partners and a broad ecosystem, Siemens supports its customers on their journey toward becoming a Digital Enterprise.

Create and drive scalable, ready-to-sell Machine Builder solution offerings for Zone Americas that enable industry-specific applications.

Help machine builders transition from hardware-centric automation to software-defined, data-driven, and AI-enabled machine architectures.

Drive IT/OT integration and support Siemens’ Industrial Operations X strategy by leveraging:

  • Software-Defined Automation (SDA): SIMATIC AX, SIMATIC S7-1500V Virtual PLC, Industrial Edge, and related technologies.
  • Industrial AI: Eigen Engineering Agent and other AI-enabled automation solutions.
  • Simulation & Digital Engineering: TIA Simulation Cloud, SIMIT, Digital Twin and Digital Drivetrain solutions, including S7-PLCSIM Advanced, DriveSim Engineer, and related engineering and simulation tools.
  • Advanced Automation & Motion: SIMATIC S7 T-CPU applications, motion control, safety, Industrial IoT, and integrated digital threads across the machine lifecycle.
  • Cybersecurity: Promote secure-by-design machine architectures that help machine builders address EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements, protect the installed base, and leverage embedded security capabilities and CRA-ready DI AUT offerings.

Connect customer and market needs with Siemens’ cross-portfolio capabilities to develop standard applications, reusable solution toolboxes (e.g., Packaging, Intralogistics, Converting, Data Center, Material Handling and others), and end-to-end machine concepts, ranging from cabinet-level solutions, where required, to holistic digital-thread scenarios that address customer business and machine-lifecycle challenges.

Collaborate across businesses, technology organizations, Sales and Marketing, regions, and global teams to bring together the required capabilities, enabling Machine Builder Sales and technical teams to win complex opportunities, accelerate solution adoption, and turn successful customer concepts into scalable, repeatable solutions for deployment across the Americas.

How you will make an impact
  • Scout technologies across industry, technology, and general machine builder segments to identify relevant developments and opportunities.
  • Evaluate customer, market, and competitive trends to identify leading automation, digitalization, and Machine Builder solution opportunities.
  • Capture, consolidate, and prioritize Zone-specific customer and solution requirements, translating them into actionable inputs for Global Machine Builder Solution Management, PLM, and portfolio owners.
  • Translate global portfolio strategies, solution standards, and value propositions into effective Zone and LCB execution while feeding regional market intelligence and customer requirements back to Global.
  • Collaborate with Global Machine Builder Solution Management and Zone Market Development on Standard Application Development, reusable application concepts, and scalable solution toolboxes.
  • Enable Machine Builder Sales and technical teams with industry-, application-, and system-level expertise, localized content, solution know-how, and pre-sales standards to strengthen sales readiness and portfolio adoption.
  • Provide machine concept consulting for complex and high-value opportunities, developing end-to-end, cross-portfolio concepts ranging from cabinet solutions to Software-Defined Automation and holistic digital-thread scenarios.
  • Support customer workshops, demonstrations, pilots, and Proof-of-Concepts to validate technical feasibility, customer value, and business potential.
  • Convert successful customer concepts into scalable, repeatable solutions and reusable toolboxes, and support deployment and adoption across LCBs in the Americas.
  • Facilitate alignment across LCBs, Sales, SAC-MB, technical teams, Global Solution Management, and portfolio organizations to ensure consistent solution positioning and effective execution.
