Job summary

Dukane-Ias,-LLC is seeking a skilled assembler to support large machines and custom products. This role involves mechanical assembly, electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic control systems, testing, and quality conformance per ISO/TQM standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of metalworking or machine assembly experience, is able to travel on short notice, and can read blueprints and schematics. Forklift operation and basic shop skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in metalworking, electrical wiring or machine assembly in lieu of post High School education.
• Experience in assembly a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical machinery to meet customer requirements.
• Assemble electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems with engineering instructions.
• Inspect and test products to ensure quality and specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment including hand, pneumatic, and power tools; basic mill/lathe work.
• Communicate with group manager before changing procedures to ensure ISO conformance.
• Maintain daily paperwork such as timecards and material transactions.
• Apply TQM techniques to improve processes and assure defect-free products.
• Assist in installations and service issues at customer facilities (travel required).
• Perform work in other job classifications as required.

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION: This person will work on large machines and custom products to meet customer requirements. Assemble, test, and troubleshoot, products to meet the customer schedule. Will support the Corporate Quality policy and using TQM concepts, principles, and tools, to make continuous improvements in work processes.POSITION FUNCTIONS: Listed below is typical functions performed in this position.
