Job description
Machine builders assemble machinery based on blueprints and schematics using hand and power tools.
First shift hours: 6:45 am to 3:15 pm
Overtime: Based on business needs, paid for time worked over 40 hours per week
Payroll: Paid weekly each Friday
Rate of pay: Based on prior work experience and schooling
Travel: Some limited travel may be expected to service or set up machines

Essential Functions
Read blueprints and schematics to identify proper parts
Stand, sit, and climb in and around the machine to assemble it
Cut and prepare belts, chains, and hydraulic hoses
Identify and install correct parts in or under the frame, pumps, valves, manifolds, fittings (air or hydraulic), measuring, making, and installing hoses
Identify and assemble drive components, including mounting motors and couplings to gearboxes and mounting in a frame
Climb in and out or under a frame multiple times while bending and stooping during the assembly process
Assemble the installation of rolls, gears, electrical panels, and associated parts, dragging, threading, breaking, and connecting all items to the stands
Completely assemble, troubleshoot, and test machines
Provide service, setup, and startup functions at customer job sites
Some limited travel expected with a shift differential of 15% for service travel, including portal-to-portal hours and paid expenses
